Canon’s E410 and MX530 B200 manuals direct the owner to turn off, unplug and contact service. B200 alone does not establish which part to buy. Match the full model before acting; unplugging an MX530 deletes faxes stored in memory.

Use the exact model’s service path
For E410, turn the printer off, unplug it and contact Canon service. For MX530, the manual gives the same service direction and warns that unplugging deletes all faxes stored in memory. Consult Canon before proceeding if those stored faxes matter.
For another model, find its own B200 manual entry before following a sequence. This page does not diagnose a failed printhead or authorize a cartridge purchase.
Worth avoiding
- Do not force printhead removal, use reset utilities or repeatedly restart a printer reporting B200.
